I Will Survive!

I Will Survive!  For 2009 the Sandpiper Republican Women will focus on issues affecting Galveston County and recovery efforts, political and personal.

The Texas Legislature is now in session and Galveston is in the forefront.  This is a critical time for Galveston and we need to keep one eye on Austin.  On a personal level, we all have similar concerns due to the storm, such as insurance claims, property values, income taxes, maybe even a little post traumatic stress.  We will also address these concerns this year.

So join us for the 2009 I Will Survive lecture series.

Come to the meeting. Visitors Welcome.

Starting March 24, 2009 We will meet at Mario’s on 61st Street.  Our meetings start at 11:30 and end by 1:00pm.  The price is $15 per person.  Guests are welcome.  Please RSVP to Casey Farris at 713-683-6191 or casey@sealysuites.com.

¿Qué Pasa USA?

As part of our ongoing challenge to turn Florida and the rest of our country red, I am proud to announce Operation: ¿Qué Pasa USA?  We are all well aware that the key to winning future elections is to embrace the Hispanic community.

This past November, we saw that the overwhelming majority of Hispanics voted for President-elect Obama. Why? I’ll tell you why. They, as many others, were misinformed. Let’s forget about all of the traditional election time rhetoric. This important voting block is not aware of what the Republican Party stands for.
